Our Courses
Swara Hindustani Classical Music School follows a holistic approach to Indian traditional art and music. Deeply rooted in the Gurukul tradition, the school emphasizes learning in a disciplined, immersive, and spiritually enriching environment. At the heart of its curriculum lies Hindustani Classical Music, nurturing students with rigorous training and a strong foundation. The school also promotes other rich traditions such as Carnatic music, and instruction in classical Indian instruments like the tabla, flute, harmonium, and more.
Swara goes beyond music by encouraging students to explore Indian traditional art forms, especially classical drawing practices based on the Talamana Paddhati, preserving the ancient canons of proportion and aesthetics.
In its mission to foster cultural depth, the school also teaches Vedic chanting (Shloka Pathan), Lalitha Sahasranama Pathan, and devotional bhajans, all with attention to precise pronunciation and traditional recitation rules. Swara Hindustani Classical Music School is the place for those who wish to immerse themselves in the timeless wisdom and beauty of India’s artistic and spiritual heritage.
